This hi-fi audio amplifier circuit is made using the TDA2030 monolithic integrated circuit intended for use as a low frequency class AB amplifier.
Normally this hi-fi audio amplifier circuit based on TDA2030 provides 14W maximum output power (0.5% total harmonic distortion ) at 14V power supply for a 4 ohms load impedance and 9 watts on 8 ohms load impedance.

TDA2030 short circuit protection for automatically limiting the dissipated power so as to keep the working point of the output transistors within their safe operating area. .

If you want to use a dual split power supply you need a +/- 14 volts power supply .
In case of using a dual power supply the maximum output power is around 12 watts on 4 ohms ( if you use a 28 power supply you don’t need a split power supply ) .
