dc-dc converter very low power This article describes the New Converter Consume only 25 uA (MAX16903). The principle is very simple, very practical. The circuit components can help you understand better grasp this principle. For example, in this circuit, you can go to find and buy these components: MAX16903.

Maxim has released the MAX16903, which is a small, synchronous buck converter with integrated high-side and low-side switches. It delivers 1A with a wide 3.5 V to 28V input voltage range and only using 25μA quiescent current at no load. It tolerates input voltage transients to 42V and it has fixed output voltages of 3.3V and 5V. It operates at 2.1MHz with three modes of operation: forced fixed-frequency operation, skip mode and synchronization to an external clock. There is aPGOODsignal to monitor the voltage quality and it is guaranteed to have no AM band interference. There is also an option to order the MAX16903 with spread-spectrum frequency modulation, which is designed to minimizeEMI-radiated emissions due to the modulation frequency.

This converter is 3mm x 3mm and available in either 10-pinTDFN-EP or 16-pinTSSOP-EP packages. Click on the links below to learn more about Maxim’s MAX1603 1A Mini-Buck Converter.
