Basically, this zero degree Celsius detector used a thermistor to sense the temperature. This circuit used a buzzer that will produce an alarm whenever the temperature falls below zero degree. An Opamp (LM7215) used to compare the reference voltage with the voltage from the thermistor. Pin 3 is a non inverting input from the reference voltage and pin 4 is an inverting input from the thermistor. When temperature become less than zero degree, the non inverting input become larger than the voltage at the inverting input, and the opamp output become high.
