This article describes a 3 Axis Accelerometer (PIC16F887). The content is very simple, very helpful. Components in this article can help you understand better understanding of this article. For example, in this article, you can go to find and buy these components:PIC16F887.

my friend reported that his 3 axisaccelerometerproject is working on. He is using Microcontroller PIC16F887 for this circuit.

3 Axis Accelerometer Using PIC16F887

The direction-sensing is accomplished by Freescale’s MMA7361L, which is a three axis low-g micromachinedaccelerometerin atiny(14 pin LGA) package.
The advantage of this chip is that it’s super simple to use:
just connect the three directional outputpinsto an analog-digital converterinputof a microcontroller and you’re ready to go. With a few morepinsconnected straight to some further microcontroller IOpinsyou can enhance its operation with functions like SLEEP, 0g detection, sensitivity selection, etc.
