selected by pressing one of the two buttons on the rein ofthe
Nunchuck.Display: Connects to any normal TV (PAL or NTSC) via touchstone
yellow “videoin” plug.Computer: Arduino board -?turn on the power
(volley)?and you are readyto go.Software: Based on the MIT “TV-out”
gadgetry which neatly lets anArduino “stratagem” a TV into displaying a
basic tableau withoutusing any style of graphics or video card. I own
modified this software to?create?a artless alphabetfrom which you can
select knowledge and make parlance with the nunchuck. Thishas to be done
within the?limitations of the Arduino as the TVoutsoftware uses a
barrow of the RAM to create the tableau.Speech conversion: The selected
parlance are then sent to a serial “words to parlance”module connected
to a dry loudspeaker. This gives the vocal words.Cost: Total salary <
$100.Other input options: – If a wireless nunchuck is used, the user
can transact with noconnecting?wires so absence as TV is in the room
somewhere nearby. – Currently uses 2 Arduino boards (one decodes the
Nunchuck message). If aartless keypad or rub of switches were used
instead, a single Arduinowould be enough to do everything. I am a
substantial nut of the Nunchuck as aninput summit though.
